Currently, the most challenging via ferrata in Bosnia and Herzegovina is Peć Mlini, which is equally demanding and
attractive, offering a beautiful view from the rock. Right at the entrance, it features a vertical section, followed by a
combination of plates, inclined grooves, overhangs, and vertical sections, all the way to the top of the rock. It
requires constant attention and both physical and technical preparedness, with limited opportunities for resting
during the climb. The ferrata is rated as E/F, but according to your estimate, it might be a D-rated ferrata with some
minor E elements. Besides the ferrata, visitors can explore the Ravlića Cave, which is part of the same project, and
two attractive zip lines.
Who is it for: mentally and physically very fit adults with technical knowledge.
How to get there: From Grude, drive south towards Ljubuški, and at the 10th kilometre, turn right towards the
village of Tihaljina. Continue straight and after the village of Tihaljina, turn left towards the village of Drinovci and the
adventure camp Peć Mlini; the distance is 11 km. The entrance to the ferrata is immediately after the Mlinici, old stone
mills located under the cliff, right at the source of the Tihaljina River that comes out of the cave.
