The ferrata Bijeli Kamen, Bršljan A is interesting and challenging, designed as a course for mountaineers who want to try their hand at this type of activity. It is located in the advanced climbers' sector of the Kozara National Park, in the immediate vicinity of the rock climbing site on Zečiji Kamen.
The ferrata starts on the right side of the
rock, named Bijeli Kamen, in the Bršljan sector. It follows the most challenging, central part of the rock, which
becomes overhanging in the second half. During the ascent, it's necessary to use an additional sling with a carabiner
to provide extra security while traversing on the anchors
Who is it for: Physically and mentally fit adults
How to get there: From Banja Luka, drive towards Prijedor, and in the village of Kozarac, turn right towards
Kozara National Park. After the national park toll booth, turn left onto a dirt road leading to the Kotlovača
mountaineering lodge. From the lodge, there is a well-marked and signposted mountaineering trail that leads to
the entrance of the ferrata.
