The "Paolo Dieci" via ferrata is beautiful but not for everyone. The first half of the via ferrata, which is in the forest and follows the ridge, is easy to navigate. The second half of the via ferrata is more demanding, with vertical sections on the rocks that provide an adrenaline rush during climbing.
Who is it for: Physically and mentally highly fit adults
How to get there: From the main road from Sarajevo to Tuzla, at Kladanj near the bus station, turn towards the city center and follow the signs directing you to the excursion site and the "Muška Voda" hotel. Drive for about 7 km until you reach the position with the entrance to the trail for the via ferrata and sports climbing routes. The parking area is not marked, so you should park by the river, across from the entrance to the via ferrata. There is a clear information board with details about the via ferrata and climbing routes on the rock next to the road.
Approach: 10 minutes
Length of the via ferrata: 200m
Elevation difference: 150
Technical difficulty: B/C
Average crossing time: 40m
The descent from the via ferrata begins from the peak point marked by a flag. The descent trail is well-marked and leads through the forest to the approach to the village, where the trail transitions into a gravel road that leads to the main road.
